Incorporating Creative Writing into Your Science Lesson Plan

Literacy is one of the most important aspects of education. But it’s often difficult to add the writing piece into science because there are so many other things to get to in a short amount of time.

We’ve created 10 images with a writing prompt on each. Push your students to think outside the box and really bring their writing to life. Each one is centered around some part of nature: an animal, an insect, or a habitat. They can be projected on the screen for a whole-class activity or you can print them out and allow students to work in small groups.
